Bobby - Customer Service Advisor – Trek Slash

Recently crowned MBUK and Bikeradar’s top enduro bike for 2021, Trek describe the all-new Slash as “Monster truck meets magic carpet”. Bobby has picked it for its great components, the slack geometry, which is perfect for descending, and the two-position Mino-Link, which enables the geometry to be easily adjusted. It’s also a sleek-looking beauty, with an awesome choice of colourways, whether you go for the 7, 8, 9.7 or 9.8. As well as taking the MBUK/Bikeradar crown, the Slash was also named the enduro best buy winner by Enduro MTB magazine.

The 9.8 featured above includes:
- RockShox ZEB 38mm fork
- 29inch wheels
- Ultra stiff carbon frame
- Carbon Bontrager PRO30 wheels

The Trek Slash 7 kicks off the range and is available from just £2,950

Richard - Senior Mechanic – X-Caliber 7

Trek’s mid-range hardtail, the X-Caliber 7 is a great bike which combines value and performance. Air forks lift the X-Caliber 7 above lower specification rides, enabling adjustment to suit your style and saving weight over spring suspension. It’s just as happy on the Dalby red trails as it is commuting to work and everything in between, with a 1x 10-speed drive train with ultra-low gear for crawling up the hills all the way up to a top gear which is great for blasting on the flats. X-Caliber 7 has the spec to allow you to build from being an intermediate rider to a pretty high level.

Key Features

- Lightweight alloy frame
- RockShox Fork
- Shimano Drivetrain
- Hydraulic Disc Breaks

The Trek X-Caliber 7 is available from just £900.00

Jane - Our chief of all things admin – Trek Émonda SL6 Disc Pro

Jane has picked out the Trek Emonda SL6 Pro as her current fave in store. This is a lightweight carbon road bike with carbon wheels and hydraulic disc brakes for fantastic stopping power and control in any weather. The aero tube design means it looks amazing but is also super fast on flats and climbs alike. The Ultegra groupset finishes off the very nice spec on this machine.

Key Features

- Lightweight carbon wheels
- Aero tube shaping
- Disc Breaks
- Shimano Ultegra groupset

The Trek Emonda SL6 Disc Pro is available at £3,700

David - Big Bear Bikes Founder and Owner – Trek Domane+ ALR

The Domane+ sees e-bikes enter a new area of the market, making road riding and, in particular, climbing even more enjoyable. The boss has picked this model because it offers high levels of comfort, performs great on the climbs and is simply a lovely looking bike. Despite being an e-bike, the Domane+ ensures a traditional road bike feel, with little or no drag from the Fazua motor system and IsoSpeed to absorb the bumps and give you a smooth, faster ride.

Key Features
- Electric Bike
- Aluminium frame
- Fazua drive system giving you assistance up to 20mph
- Disc Breaks
- Removable Battery
- Shimano 105 groupset

You can own a Trek Domane+ ALR for £3,750

Andy - Bike Hire Team – Trek Verve+ 3 or 4

The Verve+ is an e-bike hybrid range which we have in stock in the 1,2, 3 and 4 models, with a choice of lowstep or traditional crossbar models - we have try before you buy, demo bikes available.

As you’d expect, the 4 is a slight upgrade on the 3 but we think it’s worth it because of the larger battery and the Kiox display. This bike’s powerful, reliable Bosch Performance Line drive system helps give you a boost when the hills are getting a bit much or you just need to rest those weary legs a little. Trek's Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system looks great and is super user-friendly - it fully hides the battery in the frame and makes it easy to remove the battery without tools.  Not many people know this but the great majority of Trek’s e-bikes are bade in their German factory and come with a lifetime frame warranty.

Key Features

- Powerful Bosch Motor
- Battery encased in the frame
- Front suspension
- Front and rear lights
- Shimano drivetrain
- Hydraulic disc breaks

The Trek Verve+ Range starts at just £1,950

Our Picks of the bunch theTrek Verve+ 3 (pictured) comes in at £2,780 while the top spec Verve+ 4 is just a touch more at £3,300 - its a seriously impressive bike for the money!
