Colour: LITHIUM GREY/TREK BLACK

Powerfly 4 is our most affordable electric mountain bike. It's built with parts that hold up, like a smooth-shifting Shimano drive train, and a powerful Bosch motor. Plus, it features our user-friendly Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system that's fully encased in the frame yet doesn't require tools for removal. This bike expands your boundaries and lets you travel to destinations that you never thought you'd reach on a mountain bike.

You're sold on the e-bike revolution and want the capability and versatility of a mountain bike at a price that doesn't resemble the car you're trying to use less. You want bigger, better off-road adventures, and know that an e-MTB with the latest user-friendly tech is the best way to get them.

A tough yet refined aluminium frame that fully encases a long-range 500 Wh battery for sleek looks, a Bosch Performance CX (250 W, 85 Nm) motor that assists up to 25 km/h, a Bosch Purion controller, a 1x10 Shimano drivetrain and a suspension fork with lockout. Plus, Smart Wheel Sizing means riders of every size get a great fit ? 29? wheels on larger frames, 27.5? wheels on smaller frames.

Our most affordable electric mountain bike comes with the same powerful Bosch motor and intuitive controller as our most expensive e-bikes, with a smaller battery and parts chosen to give you great value.
- Trek's Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system looks great and is super user-friendly: it fully hides the battery in the frame for protection, makes it easy remove the battery without tools and lets you mount a water bottle cage
- This bike expands boundaries: the top-notch Bosch system is equally suited to commuting, recreation and a ridiculously fun time on the trails
- The Purion controller has Walk Assist and an intelligent eMTB mode that automatically delivers the right amount of power based on your terrain
- It's equipped with an external charging port for easy charging on or off the bike
- You can boost your Powerfly?s utility by adding a rack and mudguards, plus built-in wiring lets you easily install lights powered by the motor

Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. The larger frames (M and ML) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don?t have the same issues with standover height.

Bosch Performance Line CX motor
The Bosch Performance Line CX sets the standard for eMTB performance with up to 85 Nm of torque and an intelligent eMTB mode with Extended Boost that automatically adjusts the amount of assist based on the terrain.

Removable Integrated Battery
RIB is a one-piece battery and cover with a built-in handle that can easily be removed and re-installed in the frame with no tools and no hassle. It?s the most convenient way to remove your battery for transport, security or just easier charging.

What is the range?
To see how far you can ride your electric mountain bike on a single charge, check out Bosch?s range calculator. We?ve auto-filled the variables for this bike model and the average rider, but you can make adjustments to get your most accurate estimate.

Order your new bike from us and one of our team will hand deliver it to your home or place of work. We use a specialist 'white glove' courier trained by ourselves.

For peace of mind, every bike comes fully assembled and PDI’d by one of our Cytech mechanics – not your usual bike in a box delivery as some other shops offer.

Due to current demand for our bikes, please allow a minimum of 5-7 working days for delivery. We will call you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

GET UP TO 39% OFF THE COST OF YOUR NEW BIKE: HAPPY CYCLE TO WORK DAY

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.

The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.

About the Cycle To Work Scheme

Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.

Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.

As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.

How does the Cycle To Work Scheme work?

This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.

I’m interested. What do I need to do?

Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.

Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.

To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
