The Fuel EX 7 shines when you're charging down tricky descents, where the upgraded 130 mm rear and 140 mm front suspension package comes in handy. A sturdy aluminium frame, tubeless ready wheels and a reliable 1x12 SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain make this an outstanding all-around full suspension mountain bike.

You want one bike that's fun to ride on every trail, and you want upgraded parts, like a smoother DebonAir spring fork and a completely tubeless set-up for less weight and more traction.

A light yet stiff alloy frame, a 140 mm RockShox fork with a DebonAir spring for better small-bump compliance and a FOX shock. A 1x12 SRAM NX Eagle drive train with a wide gear range. Plus, Bontrager wheels with tubeless tyres and a dropper post.

Fuel EX 7 is a great all-around trail bike for a wide variety of terrain. It has upgrades where it matters most, like the suspension, drive train and tubeless-ready Bontrager wheels.
- You get more traction and control with upgraded parts you won't outgrow immediately as your skills progress
- You're getting a solid trail bike that's ready for anything you are
- The dropper post lets you lower your saddle on the fly so it's out of the way on descents
- Wide wheels provide more tyre support so you get better traction and control
- We expanded our size range to ensure a better fit for all riders. And, you get the fastest wheel that fits your frame: XS frames get 27.5? wheels, S frames get to choose between 27.5? or 29? and sizes M to XL get 29? wheels

Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (XS and S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. Larger frames (M and up) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don't have the same issues with standover height.

Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.

Straight Shot w/Knock Block
Trek's Straight Shot frame design optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio for a more responsive ride. You'll be able to push harder and stay more planted on your line when the going gets rough.

For peace of mind, every bike comes fully assembled and PDI’d by one of our Cytech mechanics – not your usual bike in a box delivery as some other shops offer.

Due to current demand for our bikes, please allow a minimum of 5-7 working days for delivery. We will call you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

GET UP TO 39% OFF THE COST OF YOUR NEW BIKE: HAPPY CYCLE TO WORK DAY

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.

The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.

About the Cycle To Work Scheme

Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.

Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.

As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.

How does the Cycle To Work Scheme work?

This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.

I’m interested. What do I need to do?

Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.

Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.

To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
