With Supercaliber 9.7 you no longer have to choose between hardtail and full-suspension on race day. Every element of this bike is developed for fast capability, from the efficient IsoStrut shock to weight-saving pivotless seat stays that cut down on trial chatter. A lightweight parts spec completes this XC-crushing machine.
You want one cross-country racing bike that works perfectly on all courses. You?re looking for a light frame, cutting-edge suspension technology and race-ready components so you can churn out the fastest XC rides of your life.
An ultra-lightweight, full OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with 60 mm of travel, a 100 mm RockShox Reba RL fork and Trek's exclusive lightweight IsoStrut FOX Performance shock designed specifically for Supercaliber. Plus, a Shimano SLX/XT 1x12 drivetrain, and Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 carbon wheels with a 108-tooth rear hub for instant engagement.
Supercaliber is designed to crush cross-country races, including the World Cup. It's fast, capable, efficient and features IsoStrut ? our game-changing integrated suspension technology.
- The Supercaliber is a World Cup-worthy bike that?s quick, capable of soaring through techy terrain and nearly as light as a hardtail
- Our exclusive IsoStrut shock provides tunable, damped suspension for a smooth and efficient ride
- Pivotless seat stays save on weight and actively bend to help soak up trail chatter
- Wider Kovee Elite 30 wheels provide better tyre support so you can run lower pressure and get more traction
- You'll never again have to wonder, ""What's faster for this course, full suspension or hardtail?""
Nothing else like it
Supercaliber?s unique frame design ditches traditional suspension hardware so there?s less weight, less maintenance and less lateral flex. IsoStrut connects the mainframe to the pivot-less seat stays to offer about 60?mm of rear wheel travel. This design offers a unique blend of efficiency, traction and fatigue-fighting compliance that keeps racers fresh and in control.
IsoStrut
IsoStrut integrated suspension gives you just enough travel to stay in control. It's fully tunable like a standard rear shock, but without the weight penalty of a full suspension bike.
OCLV Mountain Carbon
Trek's mountain-specific carbon is engineered to withstand the extreme demands of off-road racing. Advanced analysis allows our designers to create a frame with the best blend of light weight, responsiveness and just enough compliance in the seat stays to eliminate the need for a heavy rear pivot system.
Straight Shot w/Knock Block
Trek's Straight Shot frame design optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio for a more responsive ride. You'll be able to push harder and stay more planted on your line when the going gets rough.

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.
The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.
Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.
Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.
As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.
This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.
Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.
Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.
To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
If you can find it cheaper - let us know!
