Farley 9.6 is a carbon fat bike built for speed on any surface. The lightweight carbon frame, rigid carbon fork, and top-notch 1x drive train make it great for mountain bikers who prioritise performance in a fat bike. If you're ready to go hard through every season and love fat biking in every form, this whip's for you.

You don't just want to ride through the winter - you want to ride fast. You love every aspect of fat biking, and are looking for a faster ride with better performance to take on bigger adventures, epic races and more fun.

A lightweight OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with horizontal sliding dropouts, a Bontrager Haru rigid carbon fork, a wide-range SRAM GX Eagle drive train with an extra low climbing gear, a dropper post for getting down, and SUNringlé Mulefüt wheels paired with a 108T Rapid Drive hub for instant engagement, and wide, ultra-grippy Bontrager Barbegazi TLR tyres.

Speed in every season. Farley 9.6 is light, fast and built to rip. It's the ideal winter shred sled for fat bike adventurers, racers looking to train outside year-round and anyone who values the performance advantage of carbon.
- A lightweight carbon frame and fork mean this bike won't be bogged down by foul weather, deep snow or gnarly terrain
- The stability and traction of super wide tyres make you a more confident rider on any trail
- Horizontal sliding dropouts lets you fine-tune your geometry - run it long for stability or shorter for nimbler handling
- The dropper post lets you lower your saddle on the fly so it's out of the way on descents
- It's a four-season freedom machine that lets you ride outside all-year long

OCLV Mountain Carbon
Trek's mountain-specific carbon fibre is tougher carbon, with unique materials and lay-up procedures, Trek's advanced engineering, and a higher standard of testing.

27.5? fat tyres
More efficient 27.5" fat tyres keep you rolling faster, especially on groomed or packed snow.

Rapid Drive 108 rear hub
With 108 points of engagement, Rapid Drive gives you nearly instant acceleration instead of a clunky lag when you step on the pedals. You get smooth, immediate power to blast out of corners and hammer through the rough stuff. And that extra pedal ratchet adds control that can make all the difference when tackling a tricky climb.

GET UP TO 39% OFF THE COST OF YOUR NEW BIKE: HAPPY CYCLE TO WORK DAY

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.

The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.

About the Cycle To Work Scheme

Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.

Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.

As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.

How does the Cycle To Work Scheme work?

This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.

I’m interested. What do I need to do?

Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.

Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.

To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
