Procaliber 9.5 is a lightweight carbon hardtail with the unique advantage of our trail-smoothing IsoSpeed decoupler. It's the most affordable carbon model in the Procaliber mountain bike family, and it's built for speed and efficiency on singletrack with a wide-range Shimano Deore 1x12 drive train, RockShox Judy SL fork and speedy 29er wheels.

You love riding singletrack. You've entered several XC races, enjoyed every single one and want to give racing a serious go. You're looking for a solid carbon race bike at an affordable price.

A light and stiff carbon frame with trail-smoothing IsoSpeed, a 100 mm RockShox Judy SL fork with Solo Air spring and a TurnKey lockout, a smooth-shifting Shimano Deore 1x12 drivetrain, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and fast, tubeless-ready 29" wheels.

Procaliber 9.5 gives you the advantages of a carbon race bike with IsoSpeed at a wallet-friendly price and it gives you solid tech where it matters most.
- You're getting into a carbon race bike at an incredible price
- The IsoSpeed decoupler and carbon frame makes it ride smoother than any other hardtail, so your body doesn't get beaten up by trail chatter
- You get a Straight Shot downtube for extra-stiff, responsive handling without added weight and a Knock Block headset that protects against spinning bars and fork crowns
- The RockShox fork's Solo Air spring can easily be adjusted for a specific rider weight, and it's lighter than a coil spring

IsoSpeed smooth
IsoSpeed takes the edge off body-beating small bumps and trail chatter so you can stay stronger longer, without giving up any pedalling efficiency.

OCLV Mountain Carbon
Trek's mountain-specific carbon fibre is tougher carbon, with unique materials and lay-up procedures, Trek's advanced engineering, and a higher standard of testing.

Straight Shot downtube
Straight Shot downtube gives you an extra-stiff frame without adding any weight, so you can stick your line through the rough stuff and still fly up the next climb.

Shimano Deore
Shimano Deore brings even more adventure with a wider range of gear choices for the steep stuff, the fast stuff and the fun. With smooth riding, improved chain stability and sharp shifting, Deore heightens your mountain biking confidence and control so you can focus on the trail and enjoy the ride.

You almost forgot your pedals
This bike doesn't come with pedals because you'll have a better ride if you choose your own. See the pedal guide to find the best pedals for your riding style. Want pedals built for the race? We recommend clipless MTB pedals for control and efficiency.

Order your new bike from us and one of our team will hand deliver it to your home or place of work. We use a specialist 'white glove' courier trained by ourselves.

For peace of mind, every bike comes fully assembled and PDI’d by one of our Cytech mechanics – not your usual bike in a box delivery as some other shops offer.

Due to current demand for our bikes, please allow a minimum of 5-7 working days for delivery. We will call you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

GET UP TO 39% OFF THE COST OF YOUR NEW BIKE: HAPPY CYCLE TO WORK DAY

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.

The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.

About the Cycle To Work Scheme

Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.

Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.

As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.

How does the Cycle To Work Scheme work?

This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.

I’m interested. What do I need to do?

Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.

Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.

To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
