Domane+ LT 9 is a high-end carbon drop-bar electric bike designed for roadies who want an authentic road bike experience with an extra boost. The sleek and efficient Fazua drive system kicks things up a notch when you need it ? like riding into a headwind or beating your buddy up a climb ? but doesn't drag or hold you back when it's not in use. You also get the high-performance benefits of Shimano's best electronic drivetrain, Dura-Ace Di2.
You're an avid road rider searching for an e-bike that looks and rides like a traditional road bike. You want an electric drive system that's so lightweight and efficient you almost won't notice it until you flip the switch for a strategic boost of power.
A 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame and fork with rear IsoSpeed, a light, fast and efficient Fazua Evation motor and a 250 Wh battery that assists up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph) in Europe / 32 km/h (20 mph) in New Zealand,. You can easily remove the Fazua drivepack (the battery and motor) from the frame and ride the bike with or without it. Plus, a Fazua controller, 2x11 Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic drive train, Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3V carbon wheels and hydraulic disc brakes.
Our road-smoothing Domane+ frame paired with a streamlined and efficient electric drive system, plus Shimano's highest-end electronic drivetrain. It's the best of two worlds ? a true road bike feel with an additional thrust of power when you want to crush a climb or push yourself to pop off a few more miles.
- This e-road bike looks, rides and feels more like a traditional road bike
- You won't feel much drag or resistance from the Fazua system when you turn it off or pass the maximum level of assist
- Never miss a shift again with the fast, reliable Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic drivetrain
- Road-smoothing IsoSpeed absorbs fatiguing bumps in the road for a faster, smoother, more comfortable ride
- Make it yours: it's fully customisable through Project One
Fast and efficient
Fazua's lightweight drive system adds a punch of power when you need it, but rides and feels like a traditional bike when you don't. You won't feel much drag or resistance when you turn it off or pass the max level of assist. The system is also compatible with a smartphone app to let you check battery status and customise your ride.
Removable drivepack
When your ride doesn't require an extra boost, replace the motor and battery with the storage cover (sold separately) to turn your bike into a regular Domane. You'll also save 2.9 kg in weight.
The smooth advantage
Front and Rear IsoSpeed soak up fatiguing bumps in the road so you can stay stronger longer.

The UK’s Cycle To Work Scheme has been in place for over 20 years now, offering fantastic discounts to tens of thousands of riders.
The Cycle To Work Scheme, is offered through many thousands of employers in the UK and applies to bikes of all types, whether it’s road, MTB or hybrid, and that includes e-bikes too.
Introduced in 1999, the scheme aims to encourage employees to commute on their bike for environmental, traffic congestion and health reasons. It also enables companies to demonstrate that they’re looking after the wellbeing of their people.
Obviously, you’re supposed to use the bike for commuting – and we are massive supporters of getting to work this way – but it’s fine to buy a bike that’s built for the trails. Your employer owns the bike until you pay the final ownership fee, which is based on the “fair market value” of it at the end of that period.
As well as your new bike, you can use the scheme to buy accessories, such as helmets and bags, though these have to be ostensibly for your commute. So, no full face masks, for example. If you don’t have a lock, we strongly advise that you get one along with your bike as you’re liable for the Cycle To Work payments, even if it gets stolen while you’re paying it off.
This is a salary sacrifice scheme for people aged 18 and over where the monthly payment for your bike is taken out before tax and National Insurance are deducted. Because your contribution is taken before tax, you pay off more per month for less. So, for a bike costing £1,200, £100 is taken from your salary every month but it only costs you £68 because the other £32 would have normally gone to the tax man, right? So, you pay 12 instalments of £68 and a final ownership fee of £300, totalling £1,116. If your salary puts you in the higher tax brackets, you actually save more but you get the gist.
Firstly, find out which scheme your employer is enrolled in and therefore where you can buy your bike from. We work with a number of Cycle To Work providers, including cyclescheme.co.uk, cycleplus and Bikes for the NHS.
Then you need to speak to your HR department and request a certificate, bring it to us and we’ll redeem it against the cost of your bike and accessories. The salary sacrifice commences from your next pay packet.
To get a bike on the scheme, your employer needs to sign up to a provider. If they’re unsure about how to do this, send them to us and we’ll help.
If you can find it cheaper - let us know!
As well as offering a fantastic range of cycling equipment, Big Bear Bikes is equally committed to offering great value.
We want you to shop with confidence, hence our simple price promise. If you are interested in any item from Big Bear Bikes, and it is in stock at a comparable UK cycle retailer at a lower price, we will match that competitor’s price.
